Former MSNBC anchor turned author Rita Cosby isn’t letting the recent $60 million dollar libel suit filed by Howard K. Stern over her new book, the conversial biography, “Blonde Ambition: The Untold Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith’s Death,” scare her away.
Cosby says she’s in for the long haul and recently told Access Hollywood:
“Although I have not been served with any papers in reference to a lawsuit, I stand by my investigation and fully believe in the justice system.”
The lawsuit, which was filed by Stern on Tuesday in New York against Cosby and the book publisher, is in response to claims Cosby makes in the book which suggest Stern and Larry Birkhead, the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter, had a sexual encounter and the two men joined forces to profit from Smith’s death, illegal use of cocaine, conspiring to commit murder and other tawdry accusations.
